Dear South El Monte High School Eagles!

 

Welcome to South El Monte High School!

It is an honor and a privilege to welcome you to the Eagle family. South El Monte High School has a proud tradition of excellence, and we are committed to building on that tradition by providing every student with the opportunities, support, and experiences needed to succeed. Our mission is simple: Every Student, A Success Story.

At SEMHS, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve great things. Whether your goal is to attend college, explore a career, develop your talents, or discover a new passion, we have programs and opportunities to help you become Future Ready.

Our students have access to rigorous academic programs, extracurricular activities, athletics, clubs, and career-focused opportunities. Through our Early College Academy, a dual-enrollment partnership with Rio Hondo College, students can earn transferable college credits while completing their high school diploma. Our strong AVID program also provides students with the skills and support needed to prepare for college and career success.

We offer Career Technical Education pathways in areas such as professional theater, financial services, healthcare services, Photography, and machining and forming technologies. These programs give students opportunities to explore their interests and connect classroom learning to real-world careers.

Most importantly, you are part of a community that believes in you. Our teachers, counselors, staff, administrators, and families are here to support you, encourage you, and help you reach your goals.
